As is customary 3-4 times per year, the Local search, Local Advertising, Local commerce and Location based marketing industry meets together to learn from their peers and see whats new. Every December, BIAKELSEY has its Leading in Local conference in San Francisco and we will of course be there. In fact, this year we will be on a panel speaking about Local Commerce, Transaction Marketing and representing Canada.
Yes, Deals & Coupons will be a topic. Funny thing happens at these conferences. Companies stand up, speakers stand up and basically disrespect or disassociate themselves from Deals & Coupons. Then the next 10 speakers all talk about Deals & Coupons being a key part of their customer acquisition strategy. So, although many would not like to speak about deals and coupons, they ultimately find them crucial for their marketing efforts. Deals & Coupons are a big part of Local commerce and Loyalty programs.
BIAKELSEY’s next event, titled Leading in Local, is in San Francisco from December 10th to the 12th. It is loaded with industry leading speakers and content, as is usually the case at a BIAKELSEY conference. Our sister service, Local Commerce Association of Canada, is proud to be an official BIAKELSEY partner for this event and a panelist.
