Email campaigns that include discounts, coupons or deals have higher open, click and transaction rates

Coupon and Deal Marketing across the board continues to be on the rise. Whether it’s in the form of a retail offer, a customer acquisition strategy, an inventory liquidation campaign or a loyalty strategy the fact is that over half the consumer population in Canada use coupons or deals of some kind and marketers are seeing the benefits.

According to a recent Experian Marketing Services study, clients that included coupons or offers saw better conversions than those that did not.

Deal and coupon Email campaigns had a 34% higher unique click rate and a 14% higher unique open rate. Transaction rates also saw a 27% lift.
