As previously posted a few months back, there are many deal businesses that are seeking an exit nowadays. The reasons vary. Most are simply not making any money or enough money for their founders and some are trying to exit based on the value they have built. Regardless, it is not easy to sell a deal business nowadays. There aren’t many buyers available willing to invest at the same level of valuation as what the deal sites wish. Nevertheless, there are some good opportunities available in Canada. At the right price and terms, every deal business is for sale. Even the larger ones…especially the larger ones.  At the going rate of $4-$8 per subscriber email acquisition, it makes a lot of financial sense for some sites to increase their reach simply through buying out other smaller sites.  In fact, there are presently a handful of investment groups in Canada looking into buying out several smaller sites across the country in order to produce one large more competitive Deal business.
